DOTS - Destinations of Togetherness and Service
We believe the best way for people to connect is to create a relaxed atmosphere where people can come together, be known, be loved, and grow in their faith.  We have chosen DOTS as the main environments for fellowship, discipleship, and coordination of local ministry.   Click here for times and locations.
Togetherness (Discipleship)   15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. 16 From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work. Ephesians 4:15-16 NIV

Togetherness (Fellowship and Discipleship)    12 Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. 13 Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.14 Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony.15 And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.  16 Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts. 17 And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father. Colossians 3:12-17 NLT

Serve One Another   For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love. Galatians 5:13 NLT

Serve Others (Ministry)   35 For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in;36 naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.’ …. 40 The King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.’ Matthew 25:35-36, 40 NASB
DOTS meet throughout the week in various homes where it is comfortable to invite friends, family, and neighbors. These DOTS are where faith and everyday life come together.
Fellowship and Prayer   They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Acts 2:42 NASB

Fellowship and Worship   They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts,47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. Acts 2:46b-47 NIV

Each of the DOTS consider their passions to agree on regular local missions, and then go out to serve and/or partner with community organizations to be the hands and feet of Christ in this world telling them the Good News.
Missions  Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” John 20:21 NIV

Evangelism   He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” Mark 16:15 NIV

Evangelism   14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” Romans 10:14-15 NIV

Service   43 But it shall not be so among you. Whoever would be great among you must be your servant, 44 and whoever among you would be greatest must be servant of all. 45 For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.” Mark 10:43-45 MEV
